Casablanca Awaits 400 Used Buses: Full Fleet Expected by February

The city of Casablanca will have to be patient until February for the final delivery of the 400 used buses promised by Alsa. For now, about a hundred buses are already at the port of the city, according to an authorized source.
Casablanca residents are impatient to see the 400 transition buses circulating in the city. They console themselves by admiring those intended for training, criss-crossing the arteries of the metropolis. In an interview with Medias24, Alberto Perez, CEO of Alsa Maroc, assured that the transition buses will all be shipped to the kingdom in February.
However, a well-informed source within the city’s services declared that the agreement covering the entire fleet (used and new buses) has not yet been signed. Yet a source within Alsa Maroc refutes any delay in the procedure, and reassures that "the 400 buses have already been purchased and will be shipped in February". It also assures that "the administrative procedures to be finalized are taking a little time", especially since "the used buses are linked to a global investment agreement".
Alsa’s investment file was examined and approved by the technical investment commission on Friday, January 10, 2020. It only remains for the investment agreement to be signed by the various ministers concerned and for the import authorization to be granted for the remaining used buses.
