Car Rams French School Entrance During Overseas Legislative Vote in Morocco

In Casablanca, the first round of the early French legislative elections was marked by an incident.
As the French residents in Morocco were voting on Sunday at the Lyautey High School in Casablanca, a car rammed into the entrance of the French mission school. No casualties were reported. Alerted, the police went to the scene to investigate the circumstances of this incident.
Apart from this incident, the first round of the early legislative elections went smoothly. The polling stations of the French missions in Morocco opened at 8 a.m. and closed at 6 p.m. 16,000 French people voted in the various French institutions of the kingdom. According to the results of the first round, Karim Ben Cheïkh (EELV-NFP) came out on top with 51.57% (but less than 25% of registered voters), ahead of Samira Djouadi (Renaissance-Ensemble) credited with 15.70% of the votes. With 10.64% of the votes, Élodie Charron (RN) was automatically eliminated.
