Cancelled flights to Belgium: Royal Air Maroc offers alternatives
Royal Air Maroc announces the cancellation of its flights to Brussels scheduled for this Thursday, March 12, due to a general strike in Belgium. The national airline is implementing flexibility measures for its passengers, including free rebooking or refunds.
The call for a strike launched by the Belgian trade unions in a common front is paralyzing the country’s transport infrastructure. The AT832/AT833 flights connecting Casablanca to Brussels, as well as the AT636/AT637 flights between Marrakech and Brussels, cannot be operated. This national mobilization aims to challenge the reforms carried out by the "Arizona" government.
Faced with this situation, Royal Air Maroc is offering several options to its customers. Travelers can opt for a free rebooking to Brussels within 15 days, or choose an alternative via Amsterdam-Schiphol airport within 3 days after the initial date of the cancelled flight.
For those who do not wish to postpone their trip, the company guarantees a full refund of the ticket via the initial payment method. RAM insists that its passengers do not go to the airport and that they first contact their point of sale or the company’s call center.
