Brussels Airport Strike Forces Royal Air Maroc to Cancel Flights

The strike notice from the security, cleaning and hotel sectors in Belgium has forced the airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM) to cancel its flights to and from Brussels.
Air traffic will be disrupted at the airports of Brussels, Charleroi and Liège due to strike notices filed to allow employees to participate in the demonstration organized in Brussels. "Due to the general strike notice on October 1st in Brussels, we are forced to proceed with the cancellation of flights AT678/AT679 and AT832/AT833, from and to Brussels," announced the national carrier in a post on its X account.
To limit the impact of these cancellations, RAM offers customers affected by the cancellations to be transferred to other flights. Passengers whose contact details are up to date in their booking file will receive emails and SMS confirming their rescheduled flight, it is specified.
The national airline invites all passengers to "check the status of their flight and verify or update their contact details in the "Manage my booking" section of its website.
Passengers who do not wish to travel on the rescheduled flights offered by RAM have the possibility of obtaining a refund of their ticket "on the original payment method". They can also opt for a free date change, subject to availability in the same class, within 7 days following the date of the cancelled flight.
