CAN 2025 : race against the clock in Agadir

The sports venue now has modern lighting and interior comfort that meets standards, but its immediate environment is causing serious concerns. The paving, asphalting, and installation of access roads and green spaces are far from complete, leaving the surroundings of the stadium in a state described as a "desert". This situation raises fears among observers and supporters of a negative impact on the image of the organization, as the countdown is already well underway.

This delay is all the more incomprehensible as the construction sites had started simultaneously with those of the stadiums in Fez and Marrakech, which have long since taken on their final configuration. The criticisms target failures in the management of the service providers, citing several days of work stoppages and a lack of professional coordination between the various stakeholders on the Agadir site.

This management contrasts with the efficiency observed on the construction sites in Rabat. Faced with the urgency, the completion of this external environment has become a major challenge to align the Adrar stadium with the quality standards displayed by the other infrastructures of the country for this historic continental event.
