CAF Orders African Champions League Final Replay, Sparking Tunisia-Morocco Tensions

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) decided on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, to replay the final match of the African Champions League, which opposed Espérance Sportive de Tunis (EST) to Wydad Casablanca (WAC), which the Tunisians did not accept, particularly the authorities of this country, who reacted by insulting the Moroccans.
"Thank God, Tunisia is a free and independent Republic; [Tunisians queue] to elect their representatives [and not] to kiss the hand of a leader."
These are the words published on the Facebook page of the Tunisian National Guard Syndicate, shortly after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) ordered that the final of the African Champions League be played again, in a neutral country, thus calling into question an entire country: Tunisia.
The Tunisian National Guard apparently felt targeted by CAF’s decision, which considered that the "playing and security conditions were not met".
