Part of a building under construction collapsed overnight in Tangier. No casualties were reported.
Pillars on the floor of the building under construction collapsed, causing the debris to fall. Alerted, the emergency and rescue services rushed to the site to comb through the construction site to ensure that no human life was trapped under the rubble.
The results of this search confirmed the absence of victims following the incident, local sources told Tanja24. An investigation has been opened to determine the causes of this collapse and verify whether the rules of urban planning and safety have been respected.
