Stone throwing, Molotov cocktails, a burned car, no injuries, such is the balance of the first incidents that occurred following the dismissal pronounced by the Brussels Public Prosecutor’s Office, reports La Dernière heure.
According to the Brussels-Midi police who intervened on the ground, their elements present, although threatened, did not react to the provocations of the protesters. Even the water cannon, often used in such movements, was not used against the group of about forty protesters.
The Brussels-Midi police chief and the mayor of Anderlecht, Fabrice Cumps, were present on the spot, closely monitoring the situation, especially with the curfew in effect.
