Brussels Airlines Strike to Cancel 315 Flights, Affecting 40,000 Passengers

Due to the strike of pilots and cabin crew planned from Thursday to Saturday next week at Brussels Airlines, many flights from the company to Morocco will be canceled.
"About 40% of the initial flight program" will not be operated, the company said in a statement, specifying that "the cancellations represent about 315 flights, including 38 long-haul flights, and affect nearly 40,000 passengers."
According to Maaike Andries, a company spokesperson, "the affected passengers have been notified and have been offered an alternative. If they prefer not to travel, they can be offered a full refund" of the ticket.
The employees have launched a three-day strike to protest against a lack of staff and a workload deemed too high. The triggering of this movement follows the failure of the negotiations.
It should be noted that this wave of anger from airline employees is currently affecting several airlines, including Ryanair and Easyjet. These two airlines will also experience strike days in the middle of the tourist season.
