Brussels Airlines Cuts 700 Summer Flights, Including Morocco Routes, Amid Staff Concerns

The airline Brussels Airlines is about to cancel nearly 700 flights this summer, including several to Morocco, in order, it is said, to alleviate the workload of employees.
This decision was made to meet, in the short term, the demands of the unions, the management indicated, specifying that 675 flights will be canceled during this summer season, while initially only 148 flights were to be canceled in July.
In terms of loss, this series of cancellations corresponds to about 6% of the flights, the same source points out, adding that it represents a shortfall of 10 million euros.
This amount more or less represents the loss experienced by the company during the three days (June 23-24-25) of staff strikes, it is explained.
