Asma Al Halawi attempted to take her own life on Sunday, October 13, by drowning on one of the beaches in Casablanca. She is one of the victims of Taoufik Bouachrine, founder of the daily Akhbar al-Youm and Al-Yaoum24.
If it hadn’t been for the intervention of some women who were observing the scene, Asma Al Halawi would already be dead, reports Barlamane. Alerted, the police went to the scene.
Questioned, the young woman hinted that her former boss had ruined her life and the future of her family. For the victim, the treatment she was subjected to has left her with sequelae from which she cannot free herself.
