Border Construction Slows Crossings for Moroccans Entering Ceuta from Spain

The Government Delegation in Ceuta has informed that all those wishing to cross the border with their vehicles to go to Morocco must necessarily pass through the Loma Colmenar registration area, open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The objective is to avoid the long queues caused by the ongoing works at the border, says Ceuta Actualidad, specifying that these works affecting the entire border area will continue in the coming weeks.
It is only at the end of these works that the border will be fully operational. That is why the delegation is urging caution for those planning to cross the border with their vehicles, during the day or before the weekend.

The information panels located at various points in the city provide information on the precautions to be taken in order to avoid queues at the border with Morocco, especially since checks of documents and health requirements are mandatory.
Since the reopening of the borders last Tuesday, 6,607 people and 1,355 vehicles have left Ceuta for Morocco. Conversely, 4,208 people and 1,076 vehicles have entered the autonomous city from the kingdom.
