Bordeaux Midfielder Yassine Benrahou Chooses Morocco Over Algeria for International Career

Yassine Benrahou makes no secret of his football nationality. The young midfielder of Girondins de Bordeaux would like to be the Ambassador of Morocco and not that of Algeria.
Morocco is Yassine Benrahou’s choice. The young attacking midfielder of Girondins de Bordeaux has declared his availability to represent the Moroccan national team, reports Lionsdelatlas.ma.
The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) had been following the 20-year-old player for months, according to the Algerian media. The FAF also had the natural support of Benrahou’s mother for him to join the Fennecs of the desert. However, Yassine Benrahou would prefer Morocco. A choice that will certainly be made official in the coming days.
According to some indiscretions, the decision of the Bordeaux midfielder would have somewhat received the approval of Vahid Halilhodzic, the coach of the Atlas Lions. He could select him for the friendly matches against Libya and Gabon, scheduled for October.
