Bordeaux Midfielder Benrahou Undecided on Morocco National Team Future
Yassine Benrahou’s father and the Moroccan press have already placed him on the bench of the Atlas Lions. But the Girondins de Bordeaux midfielder has still not made a decision.
Yassine Benrahou is taking the time to think about his future with the Atlas Lions. "I haven’t decided yet. For now, I’ve been called up to the pre-list. The day I’m definitively called up to the A team, I’ll decide," he said, adding that for now, the most important thing for him is the club. "I played 9 matches in Nîmes, where we have to prepare for next season," can be read on girondins4ever.com.
The player does not close the door to the possibility of playing for the national team. But for now, he prefers to think about it. "In any case, it’s an honor and a pride. I’ve already played with Morocco and it went well. But we’ll see. It’s in the back of my mind today," he said.
