New Book Exposes Benalla Scandal: Insider's Journey Through Macron's Inner Circle

Alexandre Benalla, the former Elysée mission officer who has been in the news since the May 1, 2018 demonstrations, is the subject of a book that will be released next Wednesday. Titled "Benalla, the true story", the 226-page work is published by Editions de l’Observatoire and is signed by journalist and writer Sophie Coignard.

Subtitled "An intruder at the heart of power", the book written by Sophie Coignard, a journalist from Le Point, on the former Elysée mission officer will be released in bookstores this Wednesday. According to the author, it traces "the journey of Emmanuel Macron’s former bodyguard at the heart of the Elysée power since his beginnings within the Socialist Party, through the presidential campaign alongside the candidate of La République En Marche, before becoming an ’indispensable’ at the Palais".

The work, which will be sold for 18 euros starting Wednesday, has 25 chapters and actually traces, according to the Journal du Dimanche, "the trajectory of Alexandre Benalla and the behind-the-scenes of his downfall". The same one who came from nowhere, without networks, and infiltrated the heart of power.

The book, whose preparation has been kept secret, promises many "Revelations about a shooting star who collided with Jupiter and created a cataclysm in Macronie", as announced on its back cover.

"Benalla, the true story" also promises to deliver to readers explosive revelations about the French president, a "king in need of entertainment", of whom Benalla would have become the "fool".
