Protesters Target Home of Macron’s Ex-Aide Benalla, Two Arrested

About twenty people demonstrated on Sunday afternoon in front of the home of the mother of Alexandre Benalla, located in the Eure. Following her complaint, two people were arrested and taken into custody.
"These protesters wore masks bearing the likeness of Alexandre Benalla," the former Mission Officer of Emmanuel Macron, reports Franceinfo. They waved smoke bombs and threw firecrackers and eggs at the house.
Subsequently, the gendarmes of the surveillance and intervention platoon arrested and placed in custody two people. Others fled to evade justice.
Faced with the situation, the mother of Alexandre Benalla filed a complaint and an investigation was opened.
The "Alexandre Benalla" affair continues to make waves as the judicial investigations into the violence committed continue.
