Boeing 737 MAX Delays Disrupt Royal Air Maroc’s Fleet Expansion Plans

Boeing’s interruption of the production of its 737 MAX aircraft has put the CEO of Royal Air Maroc in a bind. The national airline was counting on its 4 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft to "strengthen its fleet and competitiveness".
RAM has ordered four Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, but has only received two, which have been grounded since last spring. By the end of 2019, it was supposed to receive the remaining two. However, since January 1, 2020, Boeing has halted production of this type of aircraft.
And the troubles are worsening for Boeing, which finds itself with hundreds of 737 MAX aircraft, produced in its factories, but which are prohibited from flying until further notice, reports Maroc intelligence.com.
