Body of Missing Moroccan Man Found in Spanish Lake, Autopsy Pending

The body of a young man of Moroccan origin was found on Sunday in Lake La Cuerda del Pozo in Spain. The remains have been transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for the purposes of the autopsy.
The body could be that of the 25-year-old man who went missing last Tuesday in Tudela. The Civil Guard will carry out the necessary analyses (fingerprints) to confirm the identity of the deceased. But everything seems to indicate that it is indeed the missing person. The family of the latter has been informed of the discovery of the body, which has already been transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for the purposes of the autopsy.
According to Diario de Navarra, the victim would be Anwar Chaoui, a young man of Moroccan origin who has lived for years in the Tudela district of Lourdes, with his parents and three brothers. The eldest of the siblings, he worked in an automotive components company in Tarazona, Zaragoza. Anwar Chaoui was reported missing on Tuesday, when he and his 24-year-old girlfriend were spending a day of relaxation in the area.
