Blinken to Review Israel-Arab Normalization Deals, Including Morocco Agreement

The brand new US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, plans to examine the agreements to normalize diplomatic relations between Israel and four Arab countries, including Morocco.
During his confirmation hearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the new head of American diplomacy stressed that US support for Israel is a "sacrosanct" issue for the new US President, Joe Biden. He also stated that he "fully agrees" that the agreements concluded between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco "are a good thing to build on" to shape the future in the MENA region.
"I think there are a number of things that the Trump administration has done outside our borders that I would applaud," admitted Mr. Blinken. [...] "The Abraham Accords, absolutely. Certainly, there are some commitments that have been made in order to induce these countries to normalize their relations with Israel that we should, in my view, look at carefully. I think the Committee shares this view."
Before the inauguration ceremony of the brand new American president, sources close to the Democratic Party confided to Asharq Al-Awsat that Joe Biden would have welcomed the American recognition of Morocco’s sovereignty over Western Sahara and the normalization of diplomatic relations between the kingdom and Israel.
