Bayern Munich Stands Firm on Retaining Moroccan Defender Mazraoui Despite Transfer Interest

Bayern Munich has no intention of letting go of Noussair Mazraoui this summer. Despite the interest of several clubs, including Juventus, which would have started discussions with the representatives of the Moroccan right-back with a view to a possible transfer to Turin, the Bavarian club wants to keep its player.
Noussair Mazraoui, 25, joined the German club last summer from Ajax. He signed a contract that runs until 2026. Over the past season, the player made 26 appearances for the German club, scoring one goal and providing four assists. These performances largely contributed to the club’s 11th consecutive Bundesliga title, reports Bild.
However, Mazraoui failed to establish himself as an undisputed starter due to multiple injuries during the season. Despite this mixed record, Bayern Munich only envisages Mazraoui’s departure if a caliber replacement is first recruited. The Bild newspaper recalls the Moroccan’s excellent performance at the World Cup in Qatar.
