Bayern Munich Eyes Ajax Star Hakim Ziyech as Potential Robben Replacement
Every day its rumor. Currently at Ajax Amsterdam, the Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech could pack his bags at the end of the season for Germany and its flagship club Bayern Munich.
It is the very informed newspaper Marca that reports this information, indicating that the Dutch player of Moroccan origin could be recruited by the German club to replace Arjen Robben, another Dutchman, 35, who would be on his way out after more than 10 years at the club.
To try to recruit him, Bayern would already have contacted Ajax Amsterdam with a view to an agreement that could be reached before the end of the season and the start of the transfer season, sources close to the case assure the Spanish newspaper.
In addition to Bayern, the name of Hakim Ziyech has been mentioned in Italy, notably AS Roma and Inter Milan and even in England. The transfer market is likely to come alive this year for many Moroccan players.
