Bayer Leverkusen Secures Franco-Moroccan Star Amine Adli in €15M Deal

Franco-Moroccan Amine Adli has just signed a 5-year contract with the German club Bayer Leverkusen. For a few weeks, his transfer was disputed between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, which finally managed to have this brilliant Ligue 2 player of last season in its ranks.
Although the amount of his transfer is not disclosed, it could reach 15 million euros, according to the German media. Tracked by Marseille last winter, the player had preferred to stay on the banks of the Garonne to try to promote his training club to Ligue 1, but without succeeding. For having refused to extend his contract, President Damien Comolli had to accept his transfer this summer.
Moreover, Amine Adli has not played again under the purple jersey since his expulsion in stoppage time for the resumption of L2 in Ajaccio and after having refused two offers from Troyes and Wolfsburg. However, his sidelining has caught the attention of the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP), which stated that "until proven otherwise, the player must enjoy full freedom in his choices and in the expression of his consent".
It should be noted that at Bayer Leverkusen, the player will find the striker Moussa Diaby, another French hope, called up on Thursday by the France team coach, Didier Deschamps, for the resumption of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
