Barcelona Prodigy Lamine Yamal, 15, Trains with First Team After Sevilla Win

Barça coach Xavi Hernandez has called on Lamine Yamal, a 15-year-old player of Moroccan and Equatorial Guinean origin, who plays in the club’s reserve team, to complete the first team after their victory against Seville.
Lamine Yamal, as well as nine other young players, trained with the FC Barcelona first team under the direction of Xavi Hernandez. They were called up to allow the elders to recover after their victory on Saturday against Seville (3-0), reports Marca.
The 15-year-old striker, considered the rare gem of La Masia, plays with Óscar López’s Juvenil A and will play in the UEFA Youth League, although he is still in the cadet category. He is already an international with the lower categories of Spain.
Lamine Yamal is an exceptional player who stands out for his speed, his ability to dribble and score goals. Versatile, he is comfortable in the positions of right winger or center forward. Born in Mataró on July 13, 2007, Lamine joined La Masia at the age of 12. On the official LaLiga account, he is considered the "little Leo Messi" due to his spectacular performance in the 2019 LaLiga Promises.
