Barcelona Police Arrest 10 Suspects, Including Minors, in String of Armed Robberies

This particular crime involving minors still surprises the residents of these different neighborhoods of Barcelona.

Immediately after the crime, five of these young people were arrested in the early morning following a theft prevention device in the leisure area of the seafront. The other five were arrested later by Mossos participating in a theft prevention device in the Raval area, reports El pais.

Two of the defendants were arrested with the coordination and joint action of the Guardia Urbana with the Mossos.

We know a little more about the first individuals placed in custody for aggravated theft with violence and intimidation with minor injuries. They are two young people aged 18 and 19. They are of Moroccan nationality. According to sources close to the security forces, these delinquents attacked, around six o’clock in the morning, a man who had just left a nightclub. He was stripped of his gold chain. His shirt was torn and his body covered with minor injuries.

Each of the accused was placed in custody, pending the opening of an investigation to determine the degree of involvement of the entire group, the same media reports.
