Barcelona’s Ezzalzouli Transfer Under Scrutiny: Hercules Directors Face Investigation Over Undeclared €2M Fee

The Hercules affair, the former club of Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, accused of receiving assets without declaring the 2,000,000 euros (release clause) paid by Barça to recruit the player of Moroccan origin, is progressing.
The directors of Hércules and its Foundation, Carlos Parodi, Valentin Botella, José León and José María Caruana will soon be informed of their fate. On Wednesday, the Alicante investigating court announced the opening of the preliminary investigation to shed full light on this case.
The magistrate María Luisa Carrascosa in charge of the file, took an order on Thursday specifying that this file will be dealt with on an urgent basis, since the elements "which motivated the opening of the case appear to be evidence". On the other hand, she decided not to prosecute the other people who were under investigation.
The order of this Thursday can be the subject of an appeal, an action that the defense will not fail to initiate.
