Barcelona Eyes World Cup Sensation Azzedine Ounahi Amid Transfer Battle

FC Barcelona would like to recruit the Moroccan prodigy Azzedine Ounahi into its squad, but will have to face the competition of several European clubs in this case.
Thanks to his high-level performances with the Moroccan team, qualified for the World Cup semi-finals, the midfielder of Angers SCO has caught the eye of the Catalan club which would like to recruit him as early as the next winter transfer window. Azzedine Ounahi has been impressive with his talent since the start of the competition.
A key piece of Walid Regragui’s system, the 22-year-old player is already considered the revelation of the tournament, praised by observers and even opposing coaches. According to El Mundo Deportivo, Barça is closely monitoring the Angevin, under contract until June 2026, and considers him a "low cost" option to strengthen his midfield as early as January.
The Blaugrana would even be ready to bet heavily, in order to ward off potential competitors and think they can make the difference thanks to the player’s preference, specifies the same source. According to Transfermarkt, the player’s market value is estimated at 3.50 million euros. Angers SCO will have ample opportunity to raise the stakes given the Moroccan’s new dimension, the same source points out.
