Barcelona Eyes Mazraoui as Bayern Munich Defender Seeks Exit

FC Barcelona can once again consider the option of Noussair Mazraoui for next season, as the player has expressed his desire to leave Bayern Munich.
Mazraoui’s situation in Germany is complicated. The player has little playing time and would be delighted to join Catalonia. Bayern is thus considering letting the player go to rebuild the right-back position for next season.
Mazraoui was an important player at the start of the season, a starter until the World Cup. But during the January transfer window, the German club chose to recruit Cancelo and Pavard, who have since occupied this position. Tuchel’s arrival did not improve things and everything seems to indicate that Bayern no longer counts on the Moroccan for next season, believes Sport.es.
The player himself has expressed his disappointment with his current sporting situation: "I am disappointed with my situation. I was a starter until the World Cup and now things have changed a lot. It’s a disappointment for me." Mazraoui would be ready to change clubs if a good sporting offer presented itself, which could represent an interesting opportunity for recruiters.
Barça continues its analysis of possible options to strengthen its full-back position. If the club decides to strengthen itself, it seems unlikely that it will invest a large sum in this position, and could rather opt for an inexpensive player, activating a last-minute loan.
