Mazraoui’s contract is set to expire this summer, while Dest was transferred from Ajax to Barça for 20 million euros just two years ago. According to the Spanish media, FC Barcelona would rather negotiate a transfer with a purchase option for Dest in the Netherlands in order to recover its investment, or sell him to the highest bidder after a good performance by the latter during the season.
