Barcelona Close to Signing Ajax’s Mazraoui on Free Transfer, Eyes Haaland Deal
Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui could play for FC Barcelona as early as next summer. His agent is said to have signed a preliminary agreement with the Catalan club.
According to information from Spanish journalist Sergio Rodríguez, close to the Catalan club, the two parties would have found a preliminary agreement, adding that the club has also expressed interest in Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, who currently plays for Borussia Dortmund.
The two players represented by the famous agent Mino Raiola were the main topic of a secret meeting, the same source said.
Noussair Mazraoui should therefore complete his season at Ajax and join Spain free of any contract. Since the 24-year-old defender’s adventure is set to end in June 2022.
