Bank of Africa Expands Amazigh Language Signage Across Branches

The institutions and agencies of the "Bank Of Africa" of the BMCE Group, which belongs to the famous Moroccan businessman Othmane Benjelloun, adopt Amazigh language signage, in addition to Arabic and French. This initiative will be extended to all the group’s branches.
Le monde amazigh recalls that "Bank Of Africa" is the only banking institution to have included Amazigh language and its Tifinagh script in the formulation of its annual abridged report since 2011, alongside Arabic, English, Chinese, French and Spanish.
It is concerned with the promotion of Amazigh culture and the teaching of this language, through its ambitious "Medersat.com" project, which has paved the way in terms of Amazigh teaching and the development of educational materials for primary education and preschool education.
"Bank Of Africa" is in fact the new name of the "Banque Marocaine de Commerce Extérieur (BMCE)". This choice responds to its vision of giving particular importance to the African countries where it existed and where it would be installed to gradually cover the entire continent.
