Badr Hari Defiant: Kickboxing Star Trains Despite Doping Suspension Threat

It is on Instagram that the former Moroccan Kickboxing champion, Badr Hari, decided to comment on the risk of a 4-year suspension he faces following a positive doping test. He boasts the merits of hard work and expresses optimism for the rest of his career, claiming he will give it his all in Heavyweight.
On Instagram, in a photo where he is seen in full training session in preparation for his future fights, Badr Hari writes the unambiguous following comment: "No controversy. No big PR campaign. The facts speak for themselves. I have learned the value of hard work, competition, and self-transcendence through kickboxing. The GOAT works harder than ever to give it all in Heavyweight. To my fans: thank you for your unconditional support... 2019 will be ours. #TheyAreNotReady", GOAT meaning Greatest of all time.
No need for doping, therefore, according to the K1 champion, with an implicit hint about his ethics that he implicitly describes as irreproachable: Nothing but hard work and self-transcendence.
In March 2018, Badr Hari was subjected to a urine test, during his last fight against Hesdes Gerges, a fight he won. This doping test turned out to be positive according to the Doping Authority that handled this procedure. Also positive for Hesdes Gerges who lost the fight. According to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsuur, Hari’s urine contained banned substances.
For the moment, the final sentence of the ISR (Institutes of Sports Justice) disciplinary judge has not yet been rendered. But Hari could well be suspended for four years. Note that Badr Hari, as well as four of his fellow competitors, have two weeks to submit a statement to the ISR.
