Badr Hari’s Comeback Derailed: Loses to Adegbuyi in Glory76 Kickboxing Upset

Badr Hari’s comeback did not happen tonight. The Moroccan kickboxer lost against Romanian Benjamin Adegbuyi at the Glory76 event held without an audience this Saturday in Amsterdam.
He had promised a first-round KO, but he did not get it. After two points victories, the Moroccan lost control of his fight a minute away from victory.
A kick from the Romanian and an injury to the nose were Badr Hari’s undoing. It was difficult for the kickboxer, who fell to the mat once and only got up with the insistence of his coach. Injured and bleeding profusely from the nose, he preferred to abandon the fight about thirty seconds from the end.
This failure of the Moroccan undoubtedly means the end of a long career of about twenty years during which he dominated the discipline with nearly 100 fights, 75% of which were KO wins. Bravo Badr, Morocco is and will remain very proud of you.
In the second round, the Moroccan was very close to a KO victory.
