Avatar Star Sam Worthington Vacations in Marrakech’s Historic Medina

Australian actor Sam Worthington, famous for his role in the blockbuster "Avatar", has set his sights on Marrakech for a family vacation.
The actor was spotted strolling on the famous Jemaa el-Fna square, before getting lost in the alleys of the old medina. The star also opted for a hot air balloon ride over the ochre city.
Marrakech attracts celebrities from around the world, whether they are sports, artistic or political figures. It’s no coincidence that Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian star of Liverpool FC, chose Marrakech to celebrate his 31st birthday last June. Similarly, footballers such as Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé, Eduardo Camavinga and Dayot Upamecano took advantage of the Marrakech sun to recharge.
The city has also seduced legends like Michael Jordan, impressed by the Dar El Bacha Confluence Museum, and Oprah Winfrey, who spent two unforgettable days in Marrakech.
