Austrian Airlines Launches Direct Flights from Vienna to Marrakech

Austrian Airlines, the national Austrian airline and member of the Lufthansa group, announces the resumption of its flights to Morocco. It will launch direct twice-weekly flights to Marrakech, starting October 2022.
Starting October 2022, Austrian Airlines will connect Vienna to Marrakech twice a week. An Airbus A320 will be used. According to the schedule, the departures are scheduled for Wednesday at 10:10 am in Vienna and the arrival time of the aircraft is set at 2:10 pm on Saturday, reports Simple Flying. The return flights will leave the ochre city at 3:15 pm. The plane will land at 7:20 pm in Vienna.
"Marrakech perfectly complements our portfolio of vacation destinations on short and medium-haul flights and offers our customers a well-deserved vacation during the winter months. We are continuously expanding our network and thus strengthening Austrian Airlines’ role as Austria’s flag carrier network at the Vienna airport," said Michael Trestl, Chief Commercial Officer of Austrian Airlines.
Launched in 2006, the Vienna-Marrakech air link had been temporarily suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
