Attacks on Moroccan trucks in Europe: Morocco files a complaint

Moroccan agricultural transport trucks have been the target of attacks in Spain. Faced with this situation, the Moroccan Confederation of Agriculture and Rural Development (COMADER) has decided to file a complaint with the Spanish courts.
The attacks, carried out by Spanish farmers, have multiplied in recent days. They target Moroccan products exported to the European Union, which nevertheless strictly comply with the applicable marketing standards, health standards and phytosanitary standards, according to a statement from the Confederation.
COMADER states that these attacks are detrimental to the exemplary trade relations between Morocco and the European Union, refusing to retaliate with reprisals against Spanish agricultural exports, but intends to defend its rights and those of Moroccan farmers.
The organization calls for mutual respect of goods flows and states that it will not tolerate any action contrary to the current trade agreements, it is further specified.
