Atlas Mountains Named Top Global Travel Destination for 2025

The Atlas Mountains (Morocco) are in the global top 3 of must-see mountains to visit in 2025. And, bookings for the destination are already booming.
Pinterest Predicts, an annual report that draws on Pinterest search data over the year to predict travel and lifestyle trends for the year ahead, with an estimated 80% accuracy rate, is unveiled. In the Peak Travel Trends category, it predicts three key travel destinations for 2025: the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, the Dolomites in Italy, and Portillo, a ski resort in the Chilean Andes. Data confirmed by the increase in bookings from operators. In addition, these destinations appear on many must-see travel lists for 2025.
According to Pinterest, the Atlas Mountains will be in vogue in 2025 (up 30%). Travel agency Chase Travel has ranked the entire country among its 25 destinations for travel in 2025. It explained how local artists and designers are reclaiming the narrative of the Western counterculture of the 1950s and 1960s and allowing cities like Tangier, for example, to redefine the city in their own image.
Lonely Planet had ranked Morocco among the best destinations for 2024. The world’s leading travel guide publisher recommended climbing the highest mountain in North Africa (Jebel Toubkal in the High Atlas) to its 4,167m summit and camel trekking through the dunes of the Erg Chebbi in the Merzouga desert, where tourists can sleep under the stars. The Telegraph and The Times in the UK have both cited Morocco as one of the best value-for-money destinations in 2024.
