Aterian Advances Copper-Silver Project in Morocco with Geophysical Survey

Aterian Plc, the UK-based exploration and development company focused on metals, is evaluating the potential of its copper and silver project in Agdz, Morocco, located 14 km southwest of the Bouskour copper/silver mine. It announces that it has carried out a survey in the northern part of the project, in preparation for exploration drilling.
A geophysical survey was carried out as part of the copper/silver and base metals project covering an area of 762 km², Agdz, the most advanced of the 15 new potential projects acquired by Aterian in Morocco in October 2022. "Agdz is an important asset in our portfolio. It is the most advanced of the 15 projects and we are doing the necessary work to advance our understanding of the site for drilling," the British company said in a statement. This project hosts four major copper/silver prospects covering an area of about 8 km².
The review reveals "several high-priority anomalies and has increased the target area that is planned for further exploration," Aterian said. "The geophysical study data has generated several high-priority anomalies requiring additional field work to better define these targets," said Charles Bray, CEO of the company. According to him, "the presence of several historical copper workings at Agdz is an additional encouragement, the project being located in an established copper and silver mining district in the eastern Anti-Atlas of Morocco [...]". Charles Bray also announced that the company plans to start drilling work in the first quarter of 2023.
