ASSE President Frustrated as Moroccan Defender El Chad Joins LOSC Lille

Moroccan player Nesryne El Chad has left this summer the Association sportive de Saint-Étienne (ASSE) which she joined in 2014, to join LOSC Lille. Her departure from Forez is not seen in a good light by the president of the Greens club, Jean-Marc Barsotti.
The 19-year-old Moroccan defender participated in eight matches last season under the colors of the Greens. We thought we would see her continue her career in this club where she has been very useful in defense, but Nesryne El Chad preferred to join LOSC. "It’s a pride to sign with LOSC. I had been playing in the same club for seven years, I wanted a change, but not just any change. [...] My ambition? Promotion to D1. I want to do everything to help the Club, the team, to achieve this goal," she posted on the official website of the Dogues.
ASSE is not taking Nesryne El Chad’s departure well. On Sunday, Jean-Marc Barsotti, president of the women’s section of the association, said he deeply regrets the choice of the young Moroccan lateral. "Nesryne has no respect, no loyalty towards the Association Sportive de Saint-Étienne who paid for her studies, who trained her, this reflects her lack of education," the official posted on his Twitter account.
