ASL Airlines Launches Emergency Flights from Oujda to Paris Amid Border Closure

The airline ASL Airlines has planned special flights between Oujda and Paris. These flights are scheduled to start on June 5.
Since the borders between France and Morocco are still closed, the airline has planned these flights to allow travelers wishing to go to France for an emergency to do so. Reservations for flights between Oujda and Paris CDG are available on the company’s website and only for flights to the mainland. These flights will be carried out in full compliance with health rules and the health protocol, Air-journal specified.
Due to the extension of the state of health emergency until June 10, ordinary travelers will not be able to travel between Morocco, Spain or France before this period. These flights have been planned to assist citizens, because "since 2016, ASL Airlines France has been present on the Oujda route. It was therefore obvious for the company, in a period of travel restrictions, to respond to the essential travel needs between this region of Morocco and France," said Éric Vincent, commercial director and program manager of ASL Airlines France, which has been operating passenger flights for French and European tour operators and VIP, incentive, corporate shuttle and other flights on demand for 20 years.
To recall, ASL Airlines France is a member of the ASL Aviation Holdings Group, a leading aviation services group that operates internationally under its own brand and on behalf of the main express freight integrators and postal operators. It has four airlines in Europe, a cargo airline in a joint venture in Thailand and an associated low-cost airline in South Africa. The French and South African companies mainly operate passenger flights. ASL Aviation Holdings owns a fleet of 140 aircraft ranging from the Boeing 747-400 to the ATR 72.
