Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka Donates 50 Housing Containers to Morocco Earthquake Victims

Touched by the powerful and devastating earthquake that struck Morocco in the night of September 8 to 9 and left nearly 3,000 dead, more than 6,125 injured and caused enormous material damage, Bukayo Saka, the Arsenal striker, made a great gesture of generosity towards the victims.
50 containers serving as housing for the villages affected by the earthquake. This is the kind gesture of solidarity from Arsenal striker Bukayo Saka towards the victims of the earthquake. A donation he made through the BigShoe association, which works for the well-being of children. In total, 255 people, including 89 children, will be the beneficiaries, reports The Sun. The containers have a sleeping area, a kitchenette, a bathroom and a shower, as well as electricity.
"I was shocked when I heard about the terrible earthquake in Morocco. But at that moment, I knew I really wanted to help and we started thinking about what we could do to help the displaced families. We found a way to help them quite quickly and we were able to give them a roof over their heads and give a little comfort and hope to those who have lost everything through no fault of their own," said the English international.
And he added: "In situations where people are fighting for their survival, losing their home or their loved ones, you become even more aware of the privileged situation in which you live."
