Aragon Health Service: No Record of Polisario Leader’s Transfer to Spain

The Aragon health service has assured that "there is no evidence" of the transfer of the Polisario leader, Brahim Ghali to Logroño from Zaragoza in one of its ambulances in its records.
The Spanish justice continues to investigate the conditions of entry of the separatist leader in Spain, on April 18. In a correspondence addressed to Rafael Lasala, head of the court of instruction number 7 in the Aragonese capital, in charge of the case, the head of the legal regime of health assures that there is no evidence that Brahim Ghali - who, by order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was exempted from passport and customs control - was transferred from the Zaragoza air base to the San Pedro de Logroño hospital, "neither with his own means nor with third-party means dependent on the Aragonese health service", reports La Razon. Information reported by the Aragonese president, Javier Lambán.
In a response to Judge Rafael Lasala, the general head of air mobility at the Zaragoza military base specified that the Polisario leader had been transferred to Logroño in "an ambulance with a stretcher". This information allowed the magistrate to continue his investigations. In this sense, he ordered that the Health Service of the Government of Aragon be required to "report to him if an ambulance from Health or contracted by it went to pick up Brahim Ghali at the airport on the afternoon of April 18.
The prosecution reiterates its request so that the head of the air base confirms the identity of this ambulance through its entry records, continues the same source.
