Arab League Summit: Algeria Extends Invitations, Morocco’s Attendance Uncertain

Algeria is already sending invitations to Palestine, Egypt and other countries to participate in the next Arab summit to be held from November 1 to 2 on its territory. Will Morocco also receive its invitation?
Since Monday, Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra has been distributing invitation cards to the countries invited to the 31st Arab League summit. He has already personally handed over the invitation cards to the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, and the Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al Sissi. What about Morocco with which Algeria no longer has diplomatic relations for more than a year?
The Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs has only been instructed to hand over the invitations to Mahmoud Abbas and Abdel Fattah Al Sissi. Other ministers will in turn be responsible for handing over the remaining invitations to the other countries invited to this meeting. Thus, a minister will be appointed to hand over the invitation to participate in the Arab League summit in Algiers to Morocco, reports TSA. The breakdown of diplomatic relations therefore has no negative impact on participation in multilateral events.
