Anti-Tank Mine Explosion Injures Civilians Near Dakhla, Western Sahara

A 4x4 vehicle was the victim of a terrible accident after running over an anti-tank mine in Bir Gandouz. This happened on Wednesday, June 19, 2019. Human damage was recorded.
In the rural commune of Bir Gandouz, in the Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab region, a huge explosion occurred when a 4x4 ran over an anti-tank mine. This happened specifically at the Safia site, near Bir Gandouz, in the south of Dakhla.
This information comes to us from the media Goud.ma, which cites consistent sources it does not mention. It explains that the accident occurred after two people on board the vehicle in question tried to use a passage before being surprised by the horrible explosion due to the anti-tank mine.
They were both very seriously injured. They had to be urgently taken to the Dakhla Provincial Hospital for treatment.
