Angers Striker Rachid Alioui Hospitalized with Serious Illness, Coach Confirms

Moroccan international Rachid Alioui, 28, is "seriously ill". This was announced on Friday by Angers-SCO coach Stéphane Moulin.
"He is seriously ill again. I’ll stop there, because medical confidentiality prevents me from saying more," he said at a press conference. The Angers striker has been hospitalized since Thursday, reports Ouest France.
The health of the Moroccan, who joined SCO in 2019, is a concern. After long absences from July to September, he has only participated in one Ligue 1 match this season. He had played for 14 minutes only in the match between his club and FC Metz (1-1) on October 18.
On Sunday, SCO will face FC Nantes as part of the 16th round of Ligue 1.
