Amazigh Diaspora in Europe Protests New Agadir City Logo

The logo of the city of Agadir unveiled a few days ago is not to the taste of the Moroccan expatriates in Europe. They have written a letter to the president of the municipal council to express their disapproval.
In total, 14 associations of the Moroccan diaspora based in France, Spain and Belgium are the signatories of this letter. This collective of associations whose members are all originally from the city of Agadir opposes the logo that the president is about to submit for approval to the municipal council, reports Le monde amazigh.
These associations believe that the logo pending approval does not embody the visual identity of the city of Agadir. It should reflect the civilizational (Amazigh), cultural (Souss), economic (entrepreneurial spirit) and linguistic (Tifinagh) dimensions that have forged the identity of the city.
The collective of associations of Moroccans in the diaspora is counting on the listening skills of the president of the municipal council, who would do a great service to the spirit of cohesion and solidarity of the city, by taking into account the suggestions made, the same source specifies.
