Algerian Woman’s Bold Response to Street Harassment Goes Viral, Sparks Debate

Moroccan women, whether young or older, are often harassed on the streets. The arrival of Ramadan does not seem to bother these insistent flirts and the reaction of this young Algerian woman could give some ideas to Moroccan women.

This is the story of a young Algerian woman who is harassed by young people while she is in the street. Far from letting it go, she films it and humiliates him in public before he flees, reports the TSA website.

The young man is filmed in the vicinity of the police who, moreover, do not intervene. Fearing the scandal, he begins to quicken his pace before fleeing on foot. Too late, his head has been photographed and since then he has become the laughing stock of the Algerian web and the Arab world.

In any case, on social networks, they are unanimous in congratulating the young woman. "Bravo Madame! And for the other women, have the courage to defend yourselves. This moral and even physical harassment must stop," we read on TSA.
