Algeria Claims Morocco Escalates Media Attacks Following Israel Ties

Algeria accuses Morocco of waging a media war against it, which would have taken on serious proportions after the normalization of diplomatic relations between the kingdom and Israel.
The magazine Bawabet El Djazaïr (Algeria’s portal) has, in an article titled "Roadmap for Algerian media to counter biased campaigns targeting Algeria: battle for national security", mentioned the war that the "Moroccan and Zionist electronic flies" would be waging on social networks against Algiers. According to the explanations of the author of the article, "the Moroccan media war has taken on serious proportions after Morocco’s normalization and following the successive victories of Algerian diplomacy thanks to its return to the regional and international scene."
The publication returned to the statements of the Algerian Minister of Communication Mohamed Meziane, concerning the nature of the media war orchestrated by hostile agencies against Algeria. The Algerian official indeed presented precise data that exposed the aims of these agencies: to tarnish Algeria by flooding the media and social networks around the world with a continuous flow of false and biased information against our country, reports the magazine.
For the author of the article, these media campaigns are to be placed in the context of the "fifth-generation wars currently raging in today’s world where events are accelerating and interests are intertwined." He will recall that "Algeria has already faced, in the past, such foreign media campaigns orchestrated, in particular during the black decade, when France used its entire media machine to develop and widely disseminate fallacious and pernicious theses on Algeria," before noting that it is just the methods that have changed, with "the use today of obscure agencies of artificial intelligence, deepfake, algorithm manipulation and the creation of thousands of electronic sites in order to smear Algeria."
The magazine Bawabet El Djazaïr believes that a "national security battle" of the Algerian media could help counter the biased campaigns targeting Algeria.
