Algeria is afraid of the Morocco - Israel alliance

More than three years after the normalization of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Israel, especially the military rapprochement, in exchange for the American recognition of the Moroccanness of the Sahara, continues to frighten Algeria, which unilaterally broke off its ties with the kingdom in August 2021.
"There is danger, we take the threat seriously," said Ahmed Attaf, Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, who spoke on several subjects, including the strengthening of military cooperation between Morocco and Israel, in a lengthy interview with the Qatari channel Al Jazeera, broadcast on the Atheer platform.
After the normalization of their relations in December 2020, Morocco and Israel are working to strengthen their military cooperation. Tel Aviv plans to build two drone manufacturing plants in southern Morocco and equip the kingdom with the "Iron Dome" anti-missile system, "an American system produced exclusively by the Israeli army," reported the Israeli television channel i23News. Enough to raise concerns in Algeria.
In 2021, the Algerian army feared that Morocco would acquire Israeli technology allowing it to manufacture, on its own, kamikaze drones on the model of the Israeli IAI Harop, but also that it would acquire the intelligent missions with which the aircraft and helicopters of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) would be equipped in the near future.
