Algeria Accuses Raï Star Cheb Khaled of Spying for Morocco, Court Issues Indictment

The famous raï singer, Cheb Khaled, would be wanted by the Algerian justice system. The star would be involved in a case of espionage for the benefit of Morocco.
The information is reported by the Algerian journalist Abdou Semmar, founder of the media Algériepart, residing in France. Cheb Khaled is accused of espionage for the benefit of Morocco by Algeria, a country he has not visited since 2018. According to Abdou Semmar, the king of raï received on October 18, through the intermediary of the lawyer of his record company in France, a note from the Bir Mourad Raïs court in Algiers notifying him of his indictment in this espionage case. Sources have confirmed to the Algerian journalist that it is the military court of Blida that would have transmitted to the civil court of Bir Mourad Raïs this "damning" file against Cheb Khaled.
