Ajax Star Mohamed Ihattaren Skips Training Camp Amid Alleged Threats

Moroccan player Mohamed Ihattaren is having a hard time getting his head above water. Absent from the Ajax training camp, he would have been the victim of "threats and intimidation".
According to De Telegraaf, which did not provide any details on the origin of the "threats and intimidation" of which Ihattaren would be a victim, this situation would be the reason for the player’s absence in Austria, where his team went for a training camp.
For its part, Ajax said that Mohamed Ihattaren is currently not in the best of shape and that this is what justifies his absence. But according to the information relayed by the media, the threats would be the root of the problem. According to others, these new difficulties the player is experiencing would not come from the fans.
The attacking midfielder remains a difficult case that the club has had trouble managing. Pending finding solutions to get the player out of the impasse, coach Schreuder would have visited him to provide his support in these turbulent times.
